Design thinker by nature. I research to be able to design better. In my projects I combine these two to create value for the user.

Preferably I like to go through the full design process; the so-called double diamond. I am curious by nature and I like to improve things. It starts with understanding - finding the right problem, followed by designing - finding the right solution for the problem.
Too often I see us clapping our hands the moment a project is released… only to never look back at it again.

Understanding starts with reading and listening. What do you want to achieve with your service or product? Data-analysis, trends, reports. What are the connections? To fully empathise I start the conversation and I get a kick when I gain new insights from that.
The “Yasss”-moment, when everything comes together, is what drives me. By understanding it becomes clear where the opportunities are and this enables me to connect with the user.
My design process is transparent. I am a fan of design roulette where designers exchange their design every other day thus inspiring and challenging each other's design. Essentially making the design become part of the team
With extensive experience in Design Systems I keep an open eye on the big picture and the details. Components are used consistently, the same design language on every page which is kinda pleasant for your user, when you think of it.
Different opinions on how an interaction should be solved? I don’t like to play the ‘big assumption game’ where we spar with the “I think” against someone else’s “Well, I think” I'd rather let it settle with data. That way, we get to a fitting product or service step by step.
To wrap it all up: Whether it’s about increasing customer satisfaction, creating a better connection with the user or optimising a process: I help you design a better digital product.
Will we make the world a little bit prettier with it? That will make me even more happy.
